1. General Information

Artful Craftsmead is a small, independent workshop based in the United Kingdom, specialising in handcrafted wooden gifts and personalised decor.

All items are:

• made to order
• handcrafted from scratch (cut, assembled, sanded, engraved)
• finished with stain, wax and hand polishing

Due to the nature of handmade products, no two items are identical.

2. Personalisation

All personalised orders must be provided with: • exact text (copy & paste ready)

• correct spelling and punctuation
• selected design / font (if applicable)

👉 We engrave exactly what you send – please double-check before placing your order.

Proofs:

• Design previews may be sent before production (depending on item)
• If no response is received within a reasonable time, the order may proceed as submitted
We are not responsible for errors provided by the customer.

3. Materials & Natural Variations

All products are made from real wood.
This means:

• grain patterns will vary
• knots and natural marks may be visible
• stain colour may differ slightly between pieces

👉 These are not defects – they are part of the character of natural wood.

4. Processing Time

All items are made to order.
Standard processing time:

👉 5–7 working days (Monday–Friday)
👉 Weekends are non-working days
During busy seasons (e.g. Christmas), processing time may be slightly extended.

5. Delivery

UK Orders:

• Royal Mail Tracked 24h or 48h
• Tracking number provided

International Orders:

• Tracked services only
• Delivery time varies by country

• Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
• We are not responsible for courier delays

6. Customs & Import Taxes

For international orders:

• buyers are responsible for any customs fees or taxes
• we are not responsible for delays caused by customs

7. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the personalised nature of our products:
❌ We do NOT accept returns or exchanges on personalised items

Exceptions:

✔ Damaged items
✔ Incorrect item sent

To report an issue:

• contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• provide clear photos or video (including packaging)

8. Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:
Contact us within 48 hours
Provide:

• photos of product
• packaging
• label
👉 In some cases, we may request an unboxing video
We will offer:

• replacement
• or partial/full refund (depending on situation)

9. Order Issues & Cancellations

Cancellations:

• accepted within 12 hours of purchase only
• after that, production may already begin
Once production starts: ❌ cancellation is not possible

10. Missed Deliveries / Wrong Address

Buyers are responsible for:

• providing correct address
• collecting parcels
If parcel is: • returned to us
• or missed
👉 Buyer covers: • re-shipping cost
• return cost (if charged)

11. Copyright & Design Protection

All:

• designs
• photos
• graphics
• product concepts
belong to Artful Craftsmead.
❌ Copying, reselling or reproducing is strictly prohibited.

12. Communication

We aim to reply quickly, however:
