Created to hold the memories of one of life’s most important days, each box is individually made from raw timber in our UK workshop and personalised especially for you.

Designed as a proper large wedding memory box, it is ideal for photographs, cards, invitations, vows, letters and treasured keepsakes collected from the wedding day and beyond.
This is not a ready-made wooden blank that has simply been engraved.
Every box is individually constructed, personalised, stained, finished and polished by hand.

HANDCRAFTED FROM RAW TIMBER
This is not a ready-made or unfinished box purchased and then personalised.
Each box is handcrafted from solid pine in our workshop from the beginning.
Our process includes:
• selecting and cutting the timber
• assembling and gluing the box
• clamping the construction
• sanding
• cutting narrow kerfs through the corners
• inserting real hardwood wedges
• separating the lid from the completed box
• routing the edges
• preparing the engraving
• laser engraving
• lightly sanding where required
• hand staining
• fitting the hinges and front clasp
• fitting the black felt lining
• applying wax or a suitable protective finish
• hand polishing
The hardwood used for the corner wedges may vary in timber species, grain and colour.
Hardware is selected to suit the individual box and availability, therefore the style or finish of hinges and clasps may vary slightly between boxes while retaining the same intended function.

As every box is individually cut and handcrafted, measurements may vary slightly by a few millimetres.
Internal dimensions are smaller due to the thickness of the solid timber.
INTERIOR
The base is lined with black felt for a clean and finished appearance.
The inside lid can also feature an optional personalised wooden message plaque.

Natural timber absorbs stain differently, so the finished shade, grain and tone will vary naturally from one box to another.
NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS
Solid wood is a natural material and every piece is unique.
Natural grain patterns, growth rings, knots, darker and lighter areas, mineral or natural markings and colour variation are expected.
Knots may be solid, partially open or may occasionally fall out naturally, leaving a knot hole or natural void.
Small holes, pinholes, cavities, resin or sap pockets, tiny surface depressions, natural splits, cracks and checks may occur within the timber.
Some natural holes or voids cannot be completely removed through sanding without unnecessarily altering or damaging the surrounding wood.
Areas around knots and changes in grain direction may have a more textured or uneven appearance.
Different areas of the same piece of timber may absorb stain differently. End grain, knots, resin-rich sections and denser areas can therefore appear darker or lighter after finishing.
The shade, depth and tone of laser engraving may also vary depending on grain direction, knots, resin content and the natural density of the timber.
As every box is individually handcrafted and finished by hand, small traces of glue, sanding, routing, polishing, wax, finishing or general workshop handling may occasionally be visible.
Minor sanding marks, tool marks, handling marks, tiny dents or other subtle signs of handmade production may occasionally occur.
The real hardwood corner wedges are individually fitted into narrow kerfs. Their timber species, colour and grain may vary and they may contrast differently with the surrounding pine.
Small handmade variations in joints, alignment, routed edges and finishing may occur because every box is individually cut, assembled and finished rather than factory moulded.
Measurements may vary slightly by a few millimetres.
A natural scent from timber, stain, wax or other finishing materials may be noticeable when the box is first opened. This will gradually reduce over time.
Solid timber may also expand or contract slightly with natural changes in temperature and humidity.
These are natural wood and handmade characteristics of genuine timber craftsmanship and are not considered defects where they do not affect the intended function of the product.

Every box is individually handcrafted and personalised after your order is placed.
Please allow approximately 8–10 business days for production before dispatch.
DELIVERY
UK orders are dispatched using Royal Mail 24 Tracked once production is complete.
Royal Mail 24 Tracked refers to the postal service used after dispatch. We guarantee the dispatch date, but the exact delivery date remains with the postal carrier.
International orders are sent using a tracked service.
Tracking information will be provided after dispatch.
