PERSONALISED SOLID OAK WEDDING MONEY GIFT BOX
A beautifully handcrafted solid oak keepsake box designed to make giving money for a wedding feel far more personal than simply placing cash inside a card.
Each box is made individually from real solid oak and personalised with your chosen names, wording and date. The box is CNC milled from solid timber, carefully hand finished and polished, then fitted with internal hinges, magnetic closure and your chosen ribbon presentation.
This is not a ready-made box with engraving added afterwards.
The lid and base are individually machined from solid oak, refined by hand and assembled into a finished keepsake designed to be treasured long after the wedding day.

HOW YOUR BOX IS MADE
--------------------------------
Each box begins as solid oak timber.
The production process includes:
• Selecting suitable solid oak
• Preparing the CNC programme
• Measuring and securely positioning the timber
• CNC milling the base
• CNC milling the lid
• Machining recesses for the magnets
• Machining fixing points for the internal hinges
• Engraving the personalised design
• Hand sanding
• Detailed finishing with small hand tools and files where required
• Fitting magnets
• Fitting internal hinges
• Applying protective wax or oil
• Hand polishing
• Final inspection before packing
Every piece is worked individually.
This process means the finished box retains the natural character of real oak rather than looking like a mass-produced moulded product.

REAL SOLID OAK
--------------------------------
This box is made from real solid oak.
No wood stain is used.
The natural colour, grain and character of the oak are preserved and enhanced with a protective wax or oil finish before the box is hand polished.
Because oak is a natural material, every box will be different.
You may see:
• Different grain patterns
• Growth rings
• Colour variations
• Darker or lighter areas
• Medullary rays
• Small knots
• Tiny pinholes or natural cavities
• Natural mineral marks
• Small checks or fine surface lines
• Variations in engraving colour and depth
• Slight differences in how the wood absorbs the finishing product
• Minor machining, sanding or polishing marks
• Small handmade variations in alignment, dimensions or finishing
Natural grain features and small voids cannot always be removed without altering or damaging the timber.
These characteristics are part of genuine solid wood and are not considered defects where they do not affect the function of the product.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT
--------------------------------
As your box is freshly handcrafted from real timber and finished shortly before dispatch, you may notice a natural scent of fresh oak together with the wax or oil finish when the box is first opened.
This is completely normal for a newly finished wooden product and is not a defect.
After unpacking, simply leave the box open in a well-ventilated room and the scent will gradually soften and fade naturally.

The ribbons are designed to help present rolled banknotes neatly inside the box.
Banknotes shown in photographs are for presentation purposes only and are not included.
The number and size of banknotes that can fit will depend on their denomination, dimensions and how tightly they are rolled.

UK orders are sent using Royal Mail 24 Tracked after dispatch.
International orders are sent using a tracked service.
The dispatch date is the date your order leaves my workshop. Delivery times after dispatch are controlled by the postal or courier service.
