THE RED HEART DETAIL

The red heart is a permanent feature of this design.

It creates a strong contrast against the natural stained timber and forms an important part of the overall infinity design.

The heart can be personalised with an optional date, year or very short word.

If no heart wording is supplied, the heart will remain without personalised text.

REAL SOLID WOOD CONSTRUCTION

This infinity sign is made from real solid pine.

It is not:

• Thin plywood
• MDF
• Printed decoration
• Vinyl decoration
• A mass-produced personalised blank

The substantial solid timber construction gives the finished product genuine depth, visible grain and natural wood character.

The infinity shape, flowing curves, internal openings and heart area are individually prepared and shaped from raw timber in our workshop.

Only the personalised wording is laser engraved.

Real solid pine naturally varies in grain, density and colour.

The same stain can therefore look slightly different from one piece of timber to another.

This variation is a normal part of genuine natural wood.

This product is made from raw solid timber rather than purchased as a ready-made unfinished blank.

The making process includes:

• Selecting the solid pine
• Cutting the timber to size
• Preparing the infinity shape
• Machining the flowing curves
• Shaping the internal openings
• Preparing the heart area
• Sanding the complete timber shape
• Hand refining edges and internal openings
• Preparing the personalised layout
• Laser engraving the left wording
• Laser engraving the right wording
• Preparing the red heart detail
• Laser engraving the optional heart wording
• Applying the selected wood stain
• Allowing the finish to dry
• Applying protective finishing wax

Personalisation is only one part of the production process.

Every piece requires individual timber preparation, shaping, sanding, engraving, staining, waxing and hand finishing.

NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Real solid wood is a natural material and every infinity sign will be different.

Natural characteristics may include:

• Visible wood grain
• Growth rings
• Natural colour variation
• Knots
• Partially open knots
• Fallen knots
• Knot holes
• Natural voids and cavities
• Small pinholes
• Resin or sap pockets
• Tiny surface depressions
• Fine cracks, splits or checks
• Natural texture variation
• Different stain absorption

Machining and shaping can reveal natural characteristics inside the timber that were not visible before production.

Curved edges and internal openings can therefore naturally vary slightly in grain pattern, colour, texture and appearance.

Laser engraving can also vary naturally in darkness and depth depending on:

• Grain direction
• Timber density
• Knots
• Resin content

Because every item is individually made and finished in our workshop, subtle handmade characteristics may occasionally be visible, including:

• Small glue traces where applicable
• Sanding marks
• Routing or tool marks
• Tiny dents
• Wax or polish traces
• Signs of workshop handling
• Slight alignment variation
• Small differences in finished measurements

Solid timber may naturally move slightly over time in response to changes in temperature and humidity.

These characteristics are normal for genuine natural wood and handcrafted production and are not considered faults.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

A newly handcrafted wooden product may have a noticeable natural scent when first unpacked.

This can be a combination of fresh timber, wood stain and finishing wax.

This is normal and is not a defect.

After unpacking, allow the product to air naturally.

The initial fresh wood and finish scent will gradually reduce over time.

CARE

Keep the product dry.

Do not soak or wash the wooden sign.

Wipe gently using a soft dry or slightly damp cloth when required.

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture, strong direct heat or extreme changes in humidity.

Display on a stable flat surface.
