A handcrafted solid wood watch box made especially for one treasured timepiece.

Each box is individually made from scratch in our UK workshop, personalised with your chosen engraving and finished by hand.

Unlike a ready-made wooden box with personalisation simply added afterwards, this box is constructed from timber, assembled, reinforced, sanded, engraved, hand stained, lined and polished through a multi-stage woodworking process.

Inside, a soft black watch cushion sits within a black felt-lined interior, creating a dedicated home for one special watch.

BLACK FELT INTERIOR

The inside of the box is lined with black felt, creating a clean and refined interior while providing a softer surface around your watch.

A single soft black watch cushion is included and sits neatly inside the box.

As each box is individually handmade, very small dimensional variations may occur.

Watch cases, bracelets and straps vary considerably in size.

Please compare your watch with the internal dimensions before ordering if fit is particularly important.

Very large or unusually shaped watches may require additional space.

HANDMADE FROM SCRATCH

This is not a ready-made unfinished box purchased from a supplier and simply engraved afterwards.

Every box is individually constructed from timber in our workshop.

The making process includes:

• Selecting suitable solid wood
• Cutting the individual wooden components
• Assembling and gluing the box
• Clamping the structure while the joints set
• Initial sanding
• Cutting narrow reinforcement slots through the completed corners
• Inserting and gluing real wooden wedges into those cuts
• Separating the lid from the completed box body
• Sanding again
• Routing and refining the edges
• Laser engraving your chosen design and personalisation
• Final sanding and surface preparation
• Hand staining
• Fitting the hinges and central clasp
• Preparing and fitting the black felt lining
• Preparing the watch cushion
• Applying protective wax
• Hand polishing the finished box

The complete process takes place over several stages rather than being completed in a single quick operation.

REAL WOODEN CORNER WEDGES

After the box body has been assembled, narrow cuts are made directly through the completed corners.

Real wooden wedges are glued into these cuts and become part of the actual corner construction.

They are not decorative blocks or imitation corner details.

WOOD STAIN COLOURS

Choose from:

• Pine – Light
• Light Oak
• Medium Oak
• Walnut
• Brown Mahogany
• Dark Teak
• Ebony

Every box is stained individually by hand.

Because real timber varies naturally in grain, density and absorption, the same stain may appear slightly lighter, darker or warmer from one box to another.

WAXED & HAND POLISHED

After staining and final assembly, the wood is protected with wax and polished by hand.

This enhances the natural grain and produces a smooth, carefully finished surface.

NATURAL WOOD

Real wood is a natural material and every piece is unique.

Natural characteristics may include variations in grain, knots, fine lines, tiny pin holes, markings, colour and stain absorption.

These are natural characteristics of genuine timber and are not considered defects.

No two handmade boxes will look completely identical.

PROCESSING TIME

Each watch box is handmade and personalised to order.

Normal processing time is approximately 8–10 business days.

Please allow additional delivery time after dispatch.

UK orders are normally sent using Royal Mail 24 Tracked.

International orders are sent using tracked delivery.

We can guarantee the scheduled dispatch date, but exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

PERSONALISED ITEMS

Every personalised watch box is made specifically for the buyer.

Personalised and made-to-order products are therefore not normally eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
