This personalised solid pine box transforms a traditional cash gift into a lasting keepsake. Inside the lid, banknotes can be secured with wooden clips above the engraved “Your First Million” design, while the lower section can feature a personal wedding message or wishes for the couple.
The outside of the box is personalised with the couple’s names and an optional wedding date.
Every box is individually made from raw timber in our UK workshop. This is not a ready-made wooden blank that has simply been engraved.

Unlike a disposable money envelope or greeting card, this wooden gift box can remain with the couple long after the wedding day.
After the money has been removed, the box can be used for small photographs, notes, cards and other meaningful keepsakes.
It makes a thoughtful personalised gift from parents, grandparents, relatives, friends or members of the wedding party.

HANDCRAFTED FROM RAW TIMBER
This is not a ready-made or unfinished box purchased and then personalised.
Each box is made individually from raw timber in our workshop.
The making process includes:
• selecting and cutting the timber
• assembling and gluing the construction
• clamping
• sanding
• preparing and finishing the lid
• preparing the engraving
• laser engraving
• hand staining
• fitting the hinges and clasp
• fitting the wooden money clips
• fitting the engraved message panel
• applying wax or another suitable protective finish
• hand polishing
Each piece is individually made and finished by hand.

Natural timber absorbs stain differently, therefore the final shade, grain and tone will naturally vary from one box to another.
NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS
Solid wood is a natural material and every piece is unique.
No two boxes will ever have exactly the same grain pattern, knots, colour or natural markings.
Natural characteristics may include visible grain patterns, growth rings, darker and lighter areas, solid or partially open knots, knot holes, small natural voids, pinholes, cavities, resin or sap pockets, tiny surface depressions and small natural cracks or checks.
Some natural holes or voids cannot be completely removed through sanding without unnecessarily altering or damaging the surrounding timber.
Different areas of the same piece of wood may absorb stain differently.
Knots, end grain, resin-rich sections and changes in timber density can therefore appear lighter or darker after finishing.
Laser engraving may also vary naturally in shade and depth depending on grain direction, knots, resin content and timber density.
Because every box is individually handcrafted and hand finished, small traces of the making process may occasionally remain visible. These can include subtle sanding marks, glue traces, tool marks, polishing or wax traces and minor signs of workshop handling.
Small handmade variations in joints, alignment, finish and measurements may also occur.
A natural scent from timber, stain, wax or finishing products may be noticeable when the box is first opened. This will gradually reduce over time.
Solid timber may also expand or contract slightly with natural changes in temperature and humidity.
These are natural and handmade characteristics of genuine timber craftsmanship and are not considered defects where they do not affect the intended function of the product.
DELIVERY
UK orders are dispatched using Royal Mail 24 Tracked once production is complete.
Royal Mail 24 Tracked is the postal service used after dispatch. We can confirm the dispatch date, but the exact delivery date remains with the postal carrier.
International orders are sent using a tracked service.
Tracking information will be provided after dispatch.
