Individually made from scratch in our UK workshop, each box is constructed from timber, personalised with your chosen motoring-inspired engraving and finished by hand.

OPTIONAL INSIDE-LID MESSAGE

A personal message, dedication or quote can also be engraved directly into the wood on the inside of the lid.

The message is permanently engraved into the wooden surface.

It is not printed and is not attached as a separate plaque or wooden heart.

This is ideal for a private birthday message, retirement dedication, anniversary wording or meaningful note for the recipient.

Leave the Inside-Lid Message field blank if you do not require an additional message.

BLACK FELT INTERIOR

The base of the box is lined with black felt for a clean and refined appearance.

Each watch sits on its own soft black cushion within an individual compartment.

One cushion is included for every watch space.

SAFETY LID LIMITER

The box includes a metal safety lid limiter positioned at the side of the watch row.

The limiter sits inside its own very narrow separate section and is securely fixed to both the lower box and the upper lid.

The narrow limiter section is separate from the full watch compartments and does not reduce the stated watch capacity.

HANDMADE FROM SCRATCH

This is not a ready-made unfinished box purchased from a supplier and simply engraved afterwards.

Every box is individually constructed from timber in our workshop.

The making process includes:

• Selecting suitable solid wood
• Cutting the individual components
• Assembling and gluing the box structure
• Clamping the box securely while the joints set
• Initial sanding
• Cutting narrow reinforcement slots through the completed corners
• Gluing real wooden wedges into those cuts
• Separating the lid from the completed box body
• Sanding again
• Routing and refining the edges
• Laser engraving the chosen design and personalisation
• Final sanding and surface preparation
• Hand staining
• Fitting the hinges
• Fitting the two decorative front clasps
• Installing the metal safety lid limiter
• Preparing and fitting the permanent dividers
• Adding the black felt lining
• Preparing the watch cushions
• Applying protective wax
• Hand polishing the finished box

The complete process takes place through several individual woodworking and finishing stages.

REAL WOODEN CORNER WEDGES

After the main box structure has been assembled, narrow cuts are made directly through the completed corners.

Real wooden wedges are then glued securely into those cuts.

They become part of the actual corner construction and help reinforce the box.

They are not large decorative blocks or imitation corner details.

TWO DECORATIVE FRONT CLASPS

This model is fitted with two decorative metal clasps positioned towards the sides of the front of the box.

The two-clasp design is part of the character of this particular watch box.

WOOD STAIN COLOURS

Choose from:

• Pine – Light
• Light Oak
• Medium Oak
• Walnut
• Brown Mahogany
• Dark Teak
• Ebony

Every box is stained individually by hand.

Real timber naturally varies in grain, density and colour, so the same stain may appear slightly lighter, darker or warmer from one box to another.

WAXED & HAND POLISHED

After staining and assembly, the wood is protected with wax and carefully polished by hand.

This enhances the grain and gives the finished box a smooth, refined surface.

NATURAL WOOD

Real wood is a natural material and every piece is unique.

Natural characteristics may include:

• Different grain patterns
• Knots
• Fine natural lines
• Tiny pin holes
• Natural markings
• Small natural patches
• Colour variation
• Different stain absorption
• Differences in engraving tone

These characteristics are part of genuine timber and are not considered defects.

No two handmade boxes will look completely identical.

PROCESSING & DISPATCH

Every watch box is handmade and personalised to order.

Because it is constructed completely from scratch and passes through several woodworking, gluing, drying and finishing stages, please check the current dispatch estimate shown on the website before ordering.

If the box is required for a particular date or occasion, please order in good time.

DELIVERY

UK orders are normally sent using Royal Mail 24 Tracked after dispatch.

International orders are sent using tracked delivery.

We can guarantee the scheduled dispatch date but cannot guarantee an exact delivery date.

Postal delays, courier delays, customs processing and circumstances after dispatch are outside our control.
