A beautifully handcrafted solid oak glasses and keepsake box, personalised with your chosen engraving to create a meaningful gift that can be treasured for years.

Made from genuine solid oak timber in our own workshop, this elegant rectangular wooden box combines traditional hand-finishing with precision CNC machining. Its compact design makes it a lovely place to keep suitable glasses, small jewellery pieces and treasured little keepsakes.

Unlike mass-produced wooden gift boxes, each piece is individually made from raw solid oak timber, carefully machined, engraved, sanded, finished and polished by hand.

A minimal, handwritten-style name engraving with a small decorative accent. Simple, contemporary and elegant.

All five designs are engraved directly into the solid oak lid. The natural grain of the timber remains visible through the finished artwork.

Please check the internal measurements carefully before ordering. Glasses vary considerably in frame size and shape, so not every pair will fit. Glasses and other photographed accessories are for illustration only and are not included.

We engrave your wording exactly as supplied, including spelling, capitalisation, punctuation and dates. Please check all personalisation details carefully before placing your order.

The decorative artwork remains as shown for the selected design, while the applicable name, initial or personal wording is customised.

Personalisation previews are not routinely supplied unless agreed in advance.

HANDCRAFTED FROM SOLID OAK

Each box begins as raw solid oak timber rather than a pre-made or mass-produced box.

The timber is selected and prepared before the separate lid and base are precision-machined using our CNC equipment. We carefully create the internal recesses and the fittings for the concealed hinges and magnets.

Your chosen artwork is then laser engraved into the wood.

The box is assembled, carefully sanded and finished with wood wax/oil to enhance the beautiful natural oak grain. Each piece is polished by hand, and the beige felt is fitted to the lower interior base.

The result is a carefully crafted wooden gift with its own natural character.

NATURAL OAK & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Every piece of genuine solid oak is unique.

Natural differences in grain direction, colour, figure and texture are part of the beauty of real timber. Oak may contain knots, open or fallen knots, small voids or cavities, pinholes, resin pockets, fine cracks, natural checks and other features formed during the tree's growth.

As this is a handcrafted product made from natural solid wood, you may also notice small variations in dimensions, lid alignment, joints, engraving depth or darkness, and the appearance of the wax/oil finish.

Subtle CNC machining, routing, sanding or tool marks, tiny dents, glue or wax traces and other minor handmade characteristics may occasionally be visible.

These natural and handmade details are not necessarily defects. They reflect the character of genuine timber and individual workshop production.

Solid wood also responds naturally to changes in temperature and humidity, which can cause slight movement over time.

Fresh Wood & Finish Scent

Your newly handcrafted box may have a noticeable natural scent of fresh oak combined with wood wax/oil when first opened. This is normal for a freshly finished wooden product and is not a defect.

If you prefer a milder scent, unpack the box and leave it open in a dry, well-ventilated room for approximately 24–48 hours. The scent should gradually fade.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To help preserve your wooden box:

- Keep it in a dry indoor environment.

- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture and extreme temperatures.

- Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth.

- Do not soak, immerse in water or use harsh chemical cleaners.

- Avoid placing wet or damp items inside.

- Handle the hinges and magnetic closure gently.

- Keep away from direct heat sources.

Please note that this is a decorative wooden storage box, not a protective impact-resistant glasses case. It is not designed to withstand crushing, heavy pressure or rough transport.

UK orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 24 after production is complete. International orders, where available, are sent using tracked delivery services.

Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed, particularly during busy periods or when carrier delays occur.

Orders are shipped only to the delivery address provided at checkout. Please ensure your details are correct before completing your purchase.

RETURNS & PERSONALISED ORDERS

As each box is individually personalised to your specifications, change-of-mind returns are not normally accepted once production has begun, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
