The hardwood species used for the coasters depends on timber availability in our workshop.

Different hardwoods have their own natural grain patterns, colours and characteristics, so the coasters may vary in appearance between orders.

We do not guarantee a particular hardwood species.

The four coasters are included only when the corresponding set option is purchased.

Personalised Your Way

Every remote holder is made with individual laser-engraved personalisation.

1. Handle Personalisation – Required

Add your chosen names or short wording to the wooden carrying handle.

Up to four short names or words can be supplied, with up to two on each side of the handle.

Please enter your final wording in the Handle Personalisation field.

2. Front Engraving – Optional Wording Change

The original front quote reads:

"He who controls the remote, controls the world."

You can keep this original wording or provide your own short alternative for the front engraving.

If you do not provide alternative wording, the original quote shown in the product photographs will be engraved.

3. Personalised Coasters – With the Coaster Set

When ordering the set with four coasters, please supply four names or initials.

Each coaster may feature its own individual personalisation.

The decorative initial and name engraving is based on the style shown in the product photographs.

Please enter all four personalisation details in the appropriate field.

Additional personalised engraving inside the holder is not offered.

Available finishes:

• Pine - Light

Pine - Light is a finished light wood option, not unfinished or raw timber.

Each piece of solid pine has its own individual grain, colour and density.

Stain absorption varies naturally, meaning the same stain may produce slightly different shades across different pieces of timber.

The hardwood coasters are made from available hardwood and should not be expected to have identical colouring or grain to the solid pine holder.

Made From Scratch – Our Workshop Process

Each personalised remote holder is created individually in our UK workshop.

1. Timber Selection and Preparation

We select, measure and prepare the solid pine timber for the holder.

2. CNC Routing and Carving

The individual wooden components, including the front, back, sides, base and handle, are machined and shaped using CNC equipment.

The intricate decorative ornaments are CNC-carved directly into the wooden surfaces.

These are genuine routed details, not printed decorations or designs drawn onto the wood.

3. Assembly, Gluing and Clamping

The prepared wooden sections are carefully assembled, glued and secured using clamps.

This is an important stage in creating the holder's overall structure.

4. Internal Compartments

Thin 6 mm plywood dividers are prepared, fitted and glued into the assembled structure.

These create four front compartments and two larger rear compartments without unnecessarily bulky partitions.

5. Sanding and Surface Preparation

The wooden components and detailed routed profiles are carefully sanded and prepared for engraving and finishing.

6. Personalised Laser Engraving

The chosen wording is permanently laser engraved into the wood.

7. Wood Staining

Your selected wood stain is applied to develop the chosen colour while allowing the natural character of the timber to remain visible.

8. Oiling and Protective Finishing

The holder receives its oil and protective finishing treatment.

9. Hand Polishing

The finished wood is polished by hand, highlighting the grain, shaped profiles and CNC-carved decorative details.

10. Final Inspection and Packaging

Each holder is checked and carefully packed before dispatch.

Combining precise CNC machining with hands-on assembly and finishing gives every piece the character of genuine small-workshop craftsmanship.

Genuine Solid Pine & Handmade Characteristics

Please read before purchasing.

Our remote holders are handcrafted from genuine solid pine, with 6 mm plywood used for the internal dividers. The optional coasters are made from hardwood, with the species depending on availability.

Natural wood is not perfectly uniform.

Depending on the timber, your holder may display:

• Distinctive wood grain and growth rings
• Natural differences in colour and tone
• Knots, including partially open or fallen knots
• Knot holes and small natural cavities
• Tiny pinholes and resin or sap pockets
• Small depressions and occasional fine natural cracks or checks
• Variations in stain absorption
• Differences in engraving darkness and contrast caused by wood grain, density and resin

As each holder is individually machined, assembled and hand-finished, minor sanding marks, routing or tool marks, tiny dents, workshop handling marks, small glue or finishing traces, slight joint alignment differences and small dimensional variations may also be present.

Natural timber may expand or contract slightly with changes in temperature and humidity.

The optional hardwood coasters may vary in species, grain, colour and natural markings depending on the material available at the time of production.

These natural and minor cosmetic handmade characteristics contribute to the individual appearance of the product and do not automatically indicate a manufacturing fault.

We cannot guarantee completely identical grain patterns, stain shades, CNC-carved appearance or engraving contrast between individual orders.

All products must nevertheless meet applicable standards of quality and conformity. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Fresh Wood & Finish Scent

Because your holder is newly handcrafted and finished to order, you may notice a natural scent of fresh timber, wood stain, oil or other finishing products when first unpacked.

This is normal for a freshly finished wooden item and does not, by itself, indicate a defect.

The scent gradually reduces with natural airing.

If necessary, allow approximately 24–48 hours in a well-ventilated room after unpacking.

Care Instructions

To preserve your wooden organiser and optional hardwood coasters:

• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid soaking or immersing in water.
• Do not place wooden coasters in a dishwasher.
• Wipe away spills promptly.
• Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning products.
• Keep away from excessive heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
• Avoid very damp environments and sudden temperature changes.
• Do not force oversized accessories into the compartments.
• Handle the carved wooden details with care.

Please provide your final wording when placing your order.

Your wording will be laser engraved exactly as supplied.

The buyer is responsible for checking all names, spelling, punctuation, capital letters, dates and apostrophes.

We do not automatically correct or rewrite text submitted with an order.

Please check your details carefully before completing checkout.

Design previews are not included as standard unless specifically agreed before production.

For orders containing four personalised coasters, the engraving details for all four coasters must be supplied.

Each holder is individually handcrafted to order.

UK orders: Royal Mail Tracked 24 after dispatch.

International orders: Tracked service where international delivery is available.

We work towards the stated dispatch date. Postal delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Orders are dispatched only to the address supplied at checkout.

Returns & Order Issues

As every holder is individually personalised to the buyer's specifications, change-of-mind returns are not generally available under the usual distance-selling cancellation rules.

Please check your chosen wording carefully before submitting your order.

If a product arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us so that the issue can be reviewed and addressed in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
