Designed in the shape of a three-dimensional vintage suitcase, this personalised travel fund box is made from raw timber and sheet materials in our own workshop rather than being decorated from a ready-made blank.
The substantial approximately 9 cm depth gives it the presence of a real miniature suitcase rather than a flat money frame.
Perfect for saving towards a honeymoon, anniversary trip, dream holiday or once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

You can also add an optional engraved message to the back.
Your wording is engraved exactly as supplied, so please carefully check all names, dates, spelling, punctuation and capitalisation before ordering.
The travel artwork and fixed decorative wording form part of the standard design.
WATCH YOUR TRAVEL FUND GROW
The clear acrylic front lets you see your savings building up over time.
Add coins and folded banknotes through the slot positioned at the top of the inner body, between the front and rear suitcase frames.
The money slot is not cut into the back panel.
When you are ready to access your savings, a small plate on the underside can be unscrewed to uncover the access opening.

This is a substantial three-dimensional suitcase-style money box, not a shallow money frame.
HOW IT IS MADE
Each suitcase is individually made in our workshop.
The process includes:
• Preparing the solid pine components
• CNC routing the thick front and rear suitcase frames
• Cutting the plywood body components
• Cutting the decorative plywood straps and corner details
• Preparing the recessed body between the front and back frames
• Cutting the top money slot
• Preparing the underside money-access opening and removable screw plate
• Fitting the clear acrylic front
• Assembly
• Sanding and refining
• Laser engraving
• Applying the selected wood stain
• Fitting all decorative components
• Waxing / protective finishing
• Hand polishing
The thick routed front and rear sections deliberately project beyond the recessed central body, creating the three-dimensional suitcase construction.

Please remember that stain colours will naturally vary depending on the grain, density and character of each individual piece of timber.
NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS
This product is individually handcrafted from real timber and wood-based materials.
Natural characteristics may include visible grain, growth rings, colour variation, knots, partially open knots, fallen knots, knot holes, natural voids, small cavities, pinholes, resin or sap pockets, tiny surface depressions, fine cracks, splits or checks and differences in texture.
Stain absorption may vary across the wood and laser engraving can naturally differ slightly in shade and depth depending on grain direction, timber density and resin content.
As a genuinely handmade product, subtle glue traces, sanding marks, routing or tool marks, tiny dents, polish or wax traces, signs of workshop handling and slight alignment or measurement variations may occasionally be present.
These characteristics are part of working with real natural materials and are not considered faults.
FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT
When first unpacked, your newly handcrafted money box may have a noticeable natural scent from fresh timber combined with wood stain and finishing wax.
This is normal and is not a defect.
After unpacking and allowing the piece to air naturally, the scent will gradually reduce.

Computer and phone screens can display colours differently, so the finished wood shade may vary slightly from photographs.
SHIPPING
UK orders are sent using Royal Mail 24 Tracked after dispatch.
International orders are sent using a tracked service.
The dispatch date is the date your order leaves our workshop. Delivery times after dispatch are controlled by the postal or courier service and cannot be guaranteed.
Orders are sent to the delivery address supplied with your order.
