PERSONALISED SOLID PINE CHRISTMAS KEEPSAKE BOX

Create a Christmas tradition to enjoy year after year with this substantial personalised wooden box, handcrafted from genuine solid pine in our workshop.

Each box is individually made from raw timber, personalised with your chosen wording, stained by hand and finished with wax or oil before being carefully hand polished.

Although beautifully suited to Christmas Eve, your wording does not have to say “Christmas Eve Box”.

You may choose a name, multiple names, family name, Christmas message, short festive quote or your own meaningful wording.

Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly because every box is individually handmade from genuine timber.

The Family / XL size has two front clasps for additional support.

Pine - Light keeps the timber naturally pale while the box remains fully finished and protected.

It is not a raw or unfinished timber option.

REAL SOLID PINE

This box is handcrafted from genuine solid pine timber.

It is not a thin plywood gift box, MDF box or mass-produced ready-made blank.

The substantial timber construction, natural grain and individually hand-finished surface give every box its own character.

HANDCRAFTED CONSTRUCTION

Each box is individually built in our workshop and features:

• Hardwood corner reinforcement
• Metal hinges
• Secure front clasp or clasps depending on size
• Lid limiter
• Personalised engraving
• Hand-applied wood stain
• Waxed or oiled finish

Hardwood corner wedges may vary naturally in species, grain and colour.

MADE FROM SCRATCH IN OUR WORKSHOP

Each box starts as raw timber rather than a purchased ready-made blank.

The production process typically includes:

• Selecting the solid pine timber
• Cutting the individual wooden components
• Assembling and gluing the box body
• Clamping
• Sanding
• Cutting narrow corner reinforcement slots
• Fitting and gluing small hardwood wedges into the corner slots
• Separating the lid from the completed box body
• Refining and routing the edges
• Preparing the personalised engraving layout
• Engraving the design
• Re-sanding where required
• Applying the selected wood stain
• Fitting the hinges and front clasp or clasps
• Fitting the lid limiter
• Waxing or oiling the timber
• Hand polishing
• Final inspection
• Carefully packing the completed box

The hardwood wedges are small reinforcement pieces fitted into narrow corner slots. They are part of the handmade construction and may vary naturally in grain, tone and species.

This is not disposable Christmas packaging.

It is designed as a lasting wooden keepsake that can become part of your family’s Christmas traditions and be brought out year after year.

Use it for one child, siblings, a couple or the whole family depending on the size selected.

NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Real solid timber is a natural material and no two boxes will ever be identical.

Your box may naturally show:

• Grain variation
• Growth rings
• Natural colour differences
• Knots
• Partially open knots
• Fallen knots
• Knot holes
• Natural voids or cavities
• Tiny pinholes
• Resin or sap pockets
• Small depressions
• Fine checks, cracks or splits
• Different stain absorption across the timber
• Slight engraving shade or depth variation caused by natural grain, resin and timber density
• Minor sanding, routing or tool marks
• Subtle glue traces around handmade joints
• Small workshop handling marks
• Tiny dents
• Wax or polishing traces
• Hardwood wedge variation
• Small differences in handmade joint alignment
• Slight measurement variation
• Natural wood movement caused by changes in temperature and humidity

These are natural characteristics of genuine solid timber and handmade production and are not considered defects.

Because every board of timber is different, the grain, knots, stain shade and engraving appearance of your finished box will not be identical to the photographs.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

As your box is newly handcrafted from genuine timber and freshly finished, you may notice a natural scent of fresh pine combined with wood stain, wax or finishing oil when first unpacked.

This is completely normal and is not a defect.

The scent will gradually reduce after unpacking and natural airing.

If preferred, allow the box to air naturally for approximately 24–48 hours before filling it with gifts.

CARE

• Designed for indoor use
• Keep away from excessive moisture
• Do not soak or wash
• Dust or wipe gently using a soft dry cloth
• Avoid prolonged exposure to strong direct heat
• Avoid prolonged damp or highly humid conditions
• Do not overload the lid or hardware
• Lift larger boxes carefully, especially when filled
• Store in a dry place when not in seasonal use

UK orders are sent using Royal Mail 24 Tracked after dispatch.

International orders are sent using tracked postal services where available.

We guarantee the dispatch date shown with your order.

Delivery timing after dispatch is controlled by the postal carrier and cannot be guaranteed.

Weekends, public holidays and seasonal Christmas postal volumes may affect delivery times.
