This design features a playful collection of engraved Christmas illustrations surrounding your chosen personalised wording, creating a warm and festive keepsake for children, siblings, couples or the whole family.
Each box begins as raw solid pine timber and is individually built, engraved, stained, finished and hand polished in our workshop.

Please note that the timber used is typically around 1.5–1.8 cm thick, depending on the individual boards selected.
The internal usable space is therefore smaller than the external dimensions.

Pine - Light keeps the wood naturally pale while remaining fully finished and protected.
It is not raw or unfinished timber.
CRAFTED FROM REAL SOLID PINE
This box is handcrafted from genuine solid pine timber.
It is not MDF, thin plywood or a mass-produced ready-made gift box.
Its substantial construction, natural grain and individually hand-finished surface give every box its own character.
HANDCRAFTED CONSTRUCTION
Each box is individually built in our workshop and features:
• Genuine solid pine construction
• Hand-assembled box body
• Hardwood corner reinforcement
• Metal hinges
• Secure front clasp or clasps as appropriate to the selected size
• Lid limiter
• Personalised engraving
• Hand-applied wood stain
• Waxed or oiled finish
• Hand-polished surface
The hardwood corner reinforcement consists of small hardwood wedges fitted into narrow slots cut across the external corners of the box.
These are not large decorative blocks or dovetail-style joints.
Hardwood wedges may naturally vary in species, grain and colour.
MADE FROM SCRATCH IN OUR WORKSHOP
Each box begins as raw solid pine timber rather than a purchased ready-made blank.
The production process typically includes:
• Solid pine selected
• Timber cut
• Box assembled and glued
• Clamped
• Sanded
• Narrow corner reinforcement slots cut
• Small hardwood wedges fitted and glued
• Lid separated from the completed box body
• Edges refined and routed
• Personalised engraving prepared
• Design engraved
• Re-sanded where required
• Selected wood stain applied
• Metal hinges and clasp hardware fitted
• Lid limiter fitted
• Wax or finishing oil applied

REAL WOOD. NATURALLY UNIQUE.
Solid timber is a natural material and no two boxes will ever be identical.
Your box may naturally show:
• Grain and growth-ring variation
• Natural colour differences
• Knots
• Partially open or fallen knots
• Knot holes
• Natural voids and cavities
• Tiny pinholes
• Resin or sap pockets
• Small depressions
• Fine checks, cracks or splits
• Different stain absorption
• Slight engraving shade or depth variation due to grain, resin and timber density
• Hardwood wedge variation in grain, colour and species
• Minor sanding or routing marks
• Small workshop and hand-finishing marks
• Subtle glue traces around handmade joints
• Tiny dents
• Wax or polishing traces
• Slight handmade joint or alignment variation
• Slight measurement variation
• Natural timber movement caused by changes in temperature and humidity
These are natural characteristics of genuine solid timber and handmade production and are not considered defects.
FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT
A newly handcrafted box may have a noticeable natural scent of fresh timber combined with recently applied wood stain, wax or finishing oil when first opened.
This is normal and is not a defect.
The scent will gradually reduce after unpacking and natural airing.
If preferred, allow approximately 24–48 hours of natural airing before filling the box.
CARE
• Designed for indoor use
• Keep away from excessive moisture
• Do not soak or wash
• Wipe gently using a soft dry cloth
• Avoid prolonged exposure to strong direct heat
• Avoid prolonged damp or highly humid conditions
• Do not overload the lid or hardware
• Lift larger boxes carefully, particularly when filled
• Store in a dry place when not in seasonal use

International orders are sent using tracked postal services where available.
We guarantee the dispatch date shown with your order.
Delivery timing after dispatch is controlled by the postal carrier and cannot be guaranteed.
