Made from scratch in our workshop, this unique savings box combines thick CNC-routed solid pine front and rear suitcase components with a recessed plywood body, decorative plywood details and a clear acrylic front that lets you watch your savings grow.

This is a true three-dimensional suitcase-style money box – not a shallow savings frame.

The approximately 9 cm deep central body sits between the thick front and rear suitcase-shaped frames.

WATCH YOUR SAVINGS GROW

The clear acrylic front allows you to see your savings collecting inside the suitcase.

Coins and folded banknotes are inserted through the money slot positioned at the top of the recessed central body, between the front and rear suitcase frames.

The slot is not cut into the back panel.

The transparent front makes the growing savings part of the display and lets you see your travel fund build over time.

ACCESS YOUR SAVINGS

Money can be removed without damaging the box.

The underside includes an access opening covered by a small wooden plate secured with two screws.

When you are ready to remove your savings:

• Unscrew the two screws
• Remove the access plate
• Take out your saved coins and notes
• Refit the plate when finished

The rear panel can be engraved with an optional personal message.

Real wood naturally varies in grain, colour and density, so every suitcase will absorb stain slightly differently.

This product is individually made from raw materials rather than being decorated from a ready-made money box.

The making process includes:

CNC routing is only one stage of the making process.

Every suitcase still requires extensive individual preparation, assembly and hand finishing.

NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Real wood is a natural material and every finished suitcase will be different.

Natural characteristics may include visible grain, growth rings, colour variation, knots, partially open or fallen knots, knot holes, natural voids, cavities, pinholes, resin or sap pockets, tiny depressions, fine cracks, splits or checks and variations in surface texture.

Stain absorption can also vary naturally across the timber.

Laser engraving may differ slightly in darkness, shade and depth depending on the grain direction, timber density, knots and resin content.

Plywood naturally has its own layered structure and may show variations in grain, colour, cut edges and surface appearance.

Because each product is individually made and assembled by hand, subtle workshop characteristics may also occasionally be visible, including small glue traces, sanding marks, routing or tool marks, tiny dents, wax or polish traces, signs of workshop handling, slight alignment variation and small differences in finished measurements.

The clear acrylic panel may occasionally show extremely fine handling or assembly marks visible only from certain angles or under strong light.

Solid timber can also move slightly over time in response to changes in temperature and humidity.

These are normal characteristics of genuine wood and handcrafted production and are not considered faults.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

A newly handcrafted suitcase money box may have a noticeable natural scent when first unpacked.

This can come from fresh timber together with the wood stain and finishing wax used during production.

This is normal and is not a defect.

After unpacking, simply allow the product to air naturally. The initial scent will gradually reduce.

CARE

Keep the product dry.

Do not soak or wash the wooden components.

Wipe gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth when required.

Clean the acrylic front carefully using a soft non-abrasive cloth.

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture, strong heat or extreme changes in humidity.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings and the natural characteristics of the timber.

The layouts shown for the standard designs remain as pictured.
