Personalised Solid Pine Christmas Reindeer – Freestanding 12cm Keepsake

PERSONALISED SOLID PINE CHRISTMAS REINDEER – FREESTANDING WOODEN KEEPSAKE

This personalised wooden Christmas reindeer is handcrafted from real solid pine and engraved with your chosen name or short wording, creating a lovely festive keepsake that can be brought out and enjoyed year after year.

At approximately 12 cm tall, it is intentionally a small freestanding Christmas decoration, perfect for a mantel, shelf, table, windowsill or festive display.

Unlike thin plywood decorations or mass-produced MDF ornaments, this little reindeer is made from genuine solid pine and individually prepared, personalised and hand finished in our workshop.

PERSONALISED FOR YOU

Choose a name or short wording such as:

SOPHIE

THE MILLERS

MY FIRST CHRISTMAS

NANA

MERRY CHRISTMAS

You can also add a short second line or year where required.

Please keep wording reasonably short so that the engraving remains clear and balanced.

Your wording is engraved exactly as supplied, including spelling and capitalisation.

SIZE

Approx. 12 cm tall.

This is a small decorative keepsake.

Please see the product photographs showing the reindeer held in a hand and beside familiar objects for a clear visual indication of scale.

As each piece is handcrafted from natural timber, very small measurement differences may occur.

CRAFTED FROM REAL SOLID PINE

Each reindeer is made from genuine solid pine.

It is not:

• Thin plywood
• MDF
• Veneered board
• A factory-made blank
• A mass-produced decoration

The natural thickness, grain and edge of the timber remain visible and form part of the character of the finished piece.

FREESTANDING CHRISTMAS DECOR

The reindeer is designed to stand independently on a flat surface.

It can be displayed on:

• A mantel
• Shelf
• Christmas table
• Windowsill
• Sideboard
• Festive display
• Bedroom shelf

It is a freestanding decoration rather than a hanging ornament.

HANDCRAFTED FESTIVE DETAILS

Each reindeer features:

• Engraved facial details
• Personalised engraving
• Natural solid wood grain
• Rustic twine
• Small metal bell
• Hand-applied wood stain
• Waxed or oiled hand-finished surface

MADE FROM SCRATCH IN OUR WORKSHOP

We make each reindeer from solid pine rather than buying a ready-made wooden blank.

The process includes:

• Selecting the solid pine timber
• Cutting and shaping the reindeer
• Refining the edges and details
• Sanding the timber
• Engraving the facial design
• Engraving your personalisation
• Applying the selected wood stain
• Re-sanding and hand finishing where required
• Applying finishing wax or oil
• Fitting the rustic twine
• Fitting the metal bell
• Hand finishing and final inspection

Each piece is individually prepared and finished.

WOOD STAIN OPTIONS

Choose from:

• Pine - Light
• Light Oak
• Medium Oak
• Walnut
• Brown Mahogany
• Dark Teak
• Ebony

Natural timber absorbs stain differently from piece to piece.

Grain direction, timber density, knots and resin content can all affect the finished shade, so every reindeer will naturally look slightly different.

A PERSONALISED CHRISTMAS KEEPSAKE

This little wooden reindeer makes a lovely festive keepsake for:

• Children
• Grandchildren
• Families
• Parents
• Grandparents
• First Christmas
• Christmas Eve gifts
• Stocking fillers
• Friends
• Couples

Because it is made from solid wood, it can become part of the family Christmas decorations and be brought out again each year.

NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

This product is individually handcrafted from genuine solid pine.

Natural timber is not perfectly uniform and no two pieces will ever look exactly the same.

Your reindeer may naturally display:

• Grain and growth-ring variation
• Natural colour differences
• Knots and knot markings
• Partially open or fallen knots
• Small knot holes
• Tiny pinholes, voids or cavities
• Resin or sap pockets
• Small natural depressions
• Fine checks, cracks or splits associated with solid timber
• Differences in texture and timber density
• Different levels of stain absorption
• Natural light and dark areas
• Differences in engraving shade caused by grain, resin and timber density
• Slight engraving depth variation
• Minor sanding or tool marks
• Tiny dents or workshop handling marks
• Fine surface marks or micro-scratches
• Small traces from waxing, oiling or hand polishing
• Very small differences in dimensions or edge finishing

Solid timber can also move slightly in response to changes in temperature and humidity.

These are natural characteristics of genuine solid timber and handmade production, not defects.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

When first unpacked, your newly handcrafted wooden reindeer may have a noticeable natural scent.

This can be a combination of fresh timber, wood stain and the wax or oil used during finishing.

This is normal for a freshly made solid wood product and is not a defect.

Allow the item to air naturally for approximately 24–48 hours if required.

The fresh timber and finishing scent will gradually reduce.

CARE

For indoor decorative use.

• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth
• Do not soak or immerse in water
• Do not use harsh chemical cleaners
• Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture
• Keep away from strong direct heat
• Prolonged strong sunlight may gradually alter the natural wood and stain colour

As this is genuine solid timber, small natural movement may occur with significant changes in temperature or humidity.
