PERSONALISED CNC ROUTED WOODEN MONEY SUITCASE

A substantial handcrafted wooden savings box with a distinctive suitcase-inspired construction, clear acrylic savings window and a choice of six deeply CNC-routed designs.

Choose a design to suit the recipient's hobby, personality or savings goal – from horses and adventure to a dream home, motorbike, fishing or football.

This is not a ready-made piggy bank with a design simply printed or engraved onto the surface.

Each money suitcase is individually constructed from raw materials in our workshop. The main decorative artwork is physically CNC routed into the solid timber, creating real depth and texture in the wood.

The personalised wording is then laser engraved separately, giving a clear visual difference between the deep routed artwork and the finer engraved text.

This is a substantial three-dimensional wooden money suitcase rather than a small flat savings frame.

ROUTED INTO REAL WOOD

The main decorative artwork is CNC routed directly into the solid timber.

This creates genuine physical depth within the wood.

The routed areas naturally appear different from the surrounding stained surface because the cutting process exposes deeper timber fibres and allows the wood stain to settle differently within the recessed design.

This is part of the character of the routed finish.

ENGRAVED PERSONALISED TEXT

Names and optional wording are added separately using laser engraving.

Unlike the main routed artwork, this text is much shallower and finer.

This deliberate difference allows the CNC artwork to remain the main feature while keeping personalised wording clean and easy to read.

Real solid wood naturally varies in colour, grain and density.

Wood stain will therefore absorb differently from one piece to another, meaning every finished money suitcase will have its own individual character.

CNC routing is only one stage of the production process.

Every piece still requires extensive individual preparation, assembly, finishing and hands-on workshop work.

NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Real solid wood is a natural material and every money suitcase will be different.

Natural characteristics may include:

Visible grain
Growth rings
Natural colour variation
Knots
Partially open knots
Fallen knots
Knot holes
Natural voids and cavities
Small pinholes
Resin or sap pockets
Tiny surface depressions
Fine cracks, splits or checks
Natural texture variation
Different stain absorption

CNC routing can expose variations inside the timber that were not visible before machining.

The routed artwork may therefore naturally differ slightly in colour, grain pattern, texture and appearance from one piece to another.

Laser engraving can also vary slightly in darkness and depth depending on grain direction, timber density, knots and resin content.

As each product is individually made and assembled in our workshop, subtle handmade characteristics may occasionally be present, including:

Small glue traces
Sanding marks
CNC routing or tool marks
Tiny dents
Wax or polish traces
Signs of workshop handling
Slight joint or alignment variation
Small differences in finished measurements

The clear acrylic panel may occasionally show extremely fine handling or assembly marks visible only at certain angles or under strong light.

Solid timber can naturally move slightly in response to changes in temperature and humidity.

These characteristics are a normal part of genuine natural materials and handmade production and are not considered faults.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

A newly handcrafted money suitcase may have a noticeable natural scent when first unpacked.

This can be a combination of fresh timber, wood stain and finishing wax used during production.

This is normal and is not a defect.

After unpacking, allow the product to air naturally. The initial scent will gradually reduce over time.

CARE

Keep the money suitcase dry.

Do not soak or wash the wooden components.

Wipe the timber gently using a soft dry or slightly damp cloth when required.

Clean the clear acrylic carefully with a soft non-abrasive cloth.

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture, strong heat or extreme changes in humidity.
