PERSONALISED LARGE SOLID WOOD WATCH BOX

A substantial handcrafted solid wood watch box designed for larger watch collections and individually made from scratch in our UK workshop.

Available for 6, 8, 10 or 12 watches, each box is built specifically for the selected capacity and finished by hand through a multi-stage woodworking process.

The interior features individual watch compartments, soft watch cushions and a felt-lined base, keeping each timepiece neatly separated and beautifully presented.

The lid features the original engraving design shown in the photographs and can be personalised with your chosen name, date, short wording or quote.

The physical size and internal layout of the box change according to the selected capacity.

Each version is made specifically for the chosen number of watches rather than using one oversized box with empty spaces.

The larger layout uses two rows of individual watch compartments, creating an organised and balanced presentation for your collection.

This product features the original engraving design shown in the photographs.

There is no separate engraving-design selection for this particular model.

FONT CHOICE

WATCH CUSHION COLOUR

One soft cushion is included for every watch compartment.

FELT-LINED INTERIOR

The base of the box is lined with felt for a clean, refined finish.

Permanent wooden dividers create individual spaces for each watch, helping to keep the collection organised and each timepiece separated from the others.

SAFETY LID LIMITER

The box includes a metal safety lid limiter positioned on the left-hand side of the watch compartment area.

The limiter sits fully inside its own very narrow separate section and is securely fixed to both the lower box body and the upper lid.

The limiter section is separate from the full watch compartments and does not reduce the stated watch capacity.

HANDMADE FROM SCRATCH

This is not a ready-made unfinished box purchased from a supplier and simply personalised afterwards.

Every box is constructed from timber in our workshop.

The making process includes:

• Selecting suitable solid wood
• Cutting the individual wooden components
• Assembling and gluing the box structure
• Clamping the box securely while the joints set
• Initial sanding
• Cutting narrow reinforcement slots through the completed corners
• Gluing real wooden wedges into those cuts
• Separating the lid from the completed box body
• Sanding again
• Routing and refining the edges
• Laser engraving the personalised lid
• Final sanding and surface preparation
• Hand staining
• Fitting the hinges
• Fitting the two decorative front clasps
• Installing the metal safety lid limiter
• Preparing and fitting the permanent dividers
• Adding the felt lining
• Preparing the individual watch cushions
• Applying protective wax
• Hand polishing the finished box

The complete process takes place over several woodworking, setting, drying and finishing stages.

REAL WOODEN CORNER WEDGES

After the main box structure has been assembled, narrow cuts are made directly through the completed corners.

Real wooden wedges are glued securely into these cuts and become part of the actual construction of the box.

They are not large decorative blocks or imitation corner details.

TWO DECORATIVE FRONT CLASPS

This large watch box is fitted with two decorative metal clasps positioned towards the sides of the front.

The two-clasp design complements the traditional solid wood construction and provides a secure closure.

WOOD STAIN COLOURS

Choose from:

• Pine – Light
• Light Oak
• Medium Oak
• Walnut
• Brown Mahogany
• Dark Teak
• Ebony

Every box is stained individually by hand.

Real timber naturally varies in grain, density, colour and stain absorption, so the same stain may appear slightly lighter, darker or warmer from one box to another.

Please use the stain chart as a guide rather than an exact colour guarantee.

WAXED & HAND POLISHED

After staining and final assembly, the wood is protected with wax and polished by hand.

This enhances the natural grain and gives the finished box a smooth, carefully finished surface.

NATURAL WOOD

Real wood is a natural material and every piece is unique.

Natural characteristics may include:

• Different grain patterns
• Knots
• Fine natural lines
• Tiny pin holes
• Natural markings
• Small natural patches
• Colour variation
• Different stain absorption
• Differences in engraving tone

These are natural characteristics of genuine timber and are not considered defects.

No two handmade watch boxes will look completely identical.

Lighting, photography and individual screen settings may also affect how the finished stain colour appears.

PROCESSING & DISPATCH

Every watch box is handmade and personalised to order.

Typical processing time is approximately 2–3 weeks.

This is because each box is constructed completely from scratch and passes through several woodworking, gluing, setting, staining and finishing stages.

If the box is required for a particular date or occasion, please order in good time.

DELIVERY

UK orders are normally sent using Royal Mail 24 Tracked after dispatch.

International orders are sent using tracked delivery.

We can guarantee the scheduled dispatch date, but exact delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Postal delays, courier delays, customs processing and other circumstances after dispatch are outside our control.
