Celebrate years spent together with a large personalised wooden anniversary wall clock, individually engraved and hand finished in our UK workshop.

Measuring approximately 40 cm in diameter and made from substantial 20 mm plywood, this clock is designed to become a meaningful feature in the home rather than simply another anniversary keepsake.

The elegant ornamental anniversary design can be personalised with the couple's names, anniversary milestone, date and optional wording.

Each clock is individually prepared, engraved, stained and polished before being fitted with a quiet sweep mechanism and tested for a minimum of 2 hours before dispatch.

The generous 40 cm size makes the clock a beautiful statement piece for a living room, dining room, hallway, bedroom or other special place in the home.

SUBSTANTIAL 20 MM CONSTRUCTION

The clock face is made from substantial 20 mm plywood.

This gives the finished clock a much more substantial appearance than a thin decorative clock face.

The visible layered edge forms part of the natural character of the material.

PRECISION ENGRAVED

The clock face design and personalisation are permanently laser engraved into the surface.

The design is not printed, vinyl applied or added as a temporary decoration.

Engraving tone can vary slightly depending on the natural character of the material.

SILENT SWEEP MECHANISM

The clock is fitted with a silent sweep mechanism.

Unlike a traditional ticking clock, the movement operates quietly, making it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and other areas where a loud ticking sound is not desired.

The clock requires:

• 1 × AA battery

Battery is not included.

DESIGNED TO SIT NEATLY AGAINST THE WALL

One of the special construction details of this clock is the carefully prepared back.

Separate recesses are milled into the rear of the clock for:

• The clock mechanism

• The hanging hook

This allows both components to sit within the thickness of the clock rather than projecting unnecessarily from the back.

The result is a cleaner appearance and a neater fit against the wall.

RECESSED CLOCK MECHANISM

A dedicated recess is milled into the rear of the clock to house the movement.

The mechanism is then securely installed into this prepared section as part of the final assembly.

HIDDEN HANGING HOOK

A separate recess is prepared for the hanging hardware.

The hook is fitted into this recessed area, helping the finished clock sit more neatly when displayed on the wall.

CLOCK HANDS – SAFE SHIPPING

The clock hands are delicate and can easily be bent during transport.

For this reason, the three hands are carefully packed separately from the clock for safer transit.

The package includes:

• Hour hand

• Minute hand

• Second hand

They are fitted after delivery in the following order:

1. Hour hand

2. Minute hand

3. Second hand

The hands should remain straight and must not touch each other or rub against the clock face.

This simple final assembly helps us protect the delicate hands while your clock is in transit.

HANDCRAFTED FROM START TO FINISH

Each clock passes through a genuine multi-stage making process in our workshop.

The process includes:

• Preparing and cutting the clock blank

• Creating the rear milling layout

• Milling the recess for the clock mechanism

• Milling the separate recess for the hanging hook

• Hand sanding the surface and edges

• Laser engraving the clock face and personalisation

• Final surface preparation

• Hand staining

• Applying a protective wax finish

• Hand polishing

• Installing the silent sweep mechanism

• Installing the recessed hanging hook

• Fitting the clock components

• Final visual inspection

• Testing the clock for a minimum of 2 hours

• Carefully removing and packing the hands separately for transit

• Final protective packaging

Every clock therefore goes through several individual stages before it is ready to leave our workshop.

MINIMUM 2-HOUR FUNCTION TEST

Once the mechanism and clock components have been installed, the finished clock is tested for at least 2 hours.

During this final check we make sure that the mechanism is operating correctly before the clock is prepared for dispatch.

Only after this test is completed is the clock packed for its journey to its new home.

WOOD STAIN COLOURS

Choose from:

• Pine – Light

• Light Oak

• Medium Oak

• Walnut

• Brown Mahogany

• Dark Teak

• Ebony

Each clock is individually stained by hand.

Natural variations in the plywood surface and grain mean that the same stain may appear slightly lighter, darker or warmer from one clock to another.

Please use the stain chart as a guide rather than an exact colour guarantee.

WAXED & HAND POLISHED

After staining, the clock receives a protective wax finish and is carefully polished by hand.

This enhances the character of the surface and gives the finished clock a smooth, refined appearance.

NATURAL WOOD MATERIAL – PLEASE READ

Wood-based materials naturally vary from piece to piece.

Natural characteristics may include:

• Different grain patterns

• Light and dark areas

• Fine natural lines

• Small markings

• Colour variation

• Differences in stain absorption

• Slight differences in engraving tone

These characteristics are part of the material and are not considered defects.

No two handcrafted clocks will look completely identical.

Lighting, photography and individual screen settings may also affect how the stain appears.

CHOOSE YOUR FONT

A selection of engraving fonts is shown in the product photographs.

If you would like a particular font, enter the font name or number in the Font Choice field.

If no font is selected, we will use a font that complements the anniversary design.

International orders are sent using tracked delivery where available.
