This personalised wedding money gift box is handcrafted from solid pine from scratch in my UK workshop.
The lid features an elegant engraved hearts and wedding rings design, personalised with the couple’s names and wedding date.
Inside the lid is a separate wooden Just Married car decoration with four white ribbons designed to hold rolled banknotes.
The lower panel can be engraved with your own personal wedding wishes and dedication, creating a thoughtful gift that feels much more special than simply placing money inside a card or envelope.

HANDCRAFTED FROM SCRATCH
This is not a ready-made wooden box that is simply engraved.
Each solid pine box is made from scratch in my workshop.
The process includes cutting the timber, assembling and gluing the box, clamping, sanding, creating the narrow corner cuts, fitting hardwood reinforcement wedges, separating the lid from the completed body, preparing the surfaces, laser engraving, staining, fitting the hardware, applying a protective finish and hand polishing.
The separate wooden Just Married element is then prepared and fitted before the finished box is carefully checked and packed.

Because every piece of timber absorbs stain differently, the final colour and tone will naturally vary from box to box.
NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS
Solid wood is a natural material and every box is individually handmade.
Natural characteristics may include variations in grain, growth rings, colour and texture; knots, partially open or fallen knots; small knot holes, pinholes or natural cavities; resin or sap pockets; tiny surface depressions; small natural cracks, splits or checks; and differences in stain absorption.
These natural features can also affect the tone and depth of laser engraving.
As each box is handmade individually, you may also see subtle traces of the making process such as very small sanding, routing, glue, polishing or finishing marks, minor tool marks, tiny dents, slight differences in joints, routed edges, alignment or measurements, and natural variations in the grain and colour of the hardwood corner wedges.
Some natural timber features cannot be completely removed by sanding without altering or damaging the surrounding wood.
A freshly finished box may also have a natural wood, stain or wax scent when first opened. This will gradually reduce.
Wood naturally reacts to changes in temperature and humidity and may expand or contract slightly over time.
These characteristics are part of genuine solid timber and handmade construction and are not considered faults where they do not affect the normal function of the product.
DELIVERY
UK orders are sent using Royal Mail 24 Tracked after dispatch.
International orders are sent using a tracked service.
The dispatch date is the date your order leaves my workshop. Delivery times after dispatch are controlled by the postal or courier service and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
