CNC ROUTED FROM SOLID WOOD

The infinity sculpture is physically CNC routed from real solid pine.

The routed construction includes:

• The complete infinity shape

• Flowing curves

• Heart shapes

• Decorative openings on the Classic design

• Decorative routed details

• Structural shaping

• Base fitting area

The hearts and decorative areas are not printed, painted, vinyl applied or simply surface engraved.

They are physically machined into or through the solid timber.

Only the personalised wording is laser engraved.

This creates a visible difference between the deeply routed construction and the finer surface engraving.

SOLID WOOD BASE

The infinity sculpture stands in a matching solid pine base.

A stand slot is CNC routed into the base so the infinity piece can be positioned securely.

The base is made from solid wood and is approximately up to 2 cm thick.

Two battery-operated LED tealights are supplied with the product and can be positioned on the surface of the base as shown in our photographs.

IMPORTANT:

There are NO routed tealight recesses in the base.

The LED tealights simply sit on the base surface.

TWO BATTERY-OPERATED LED TEALIGHTS INCLUDED

Two small battery-operated LED tealights are supplied.

They create a soft decorative glow around the personalised wooden display.

Battery-operated LED tealights only.

Never use real candles, naked flames or other heat sources with this wooden product.

Real solid pine naturally varies in colour, density and grain.

The same stain can therefore look slightly different from one piece of timber to another.

This is part of the natural character of genuine wood.

This product is created from raw timber rather than purchased as a ready-made unfinished blank.

The production process includes:

• Selecting the solid pine

• Cutting the timber to size

• Preparing the CNC programme

• Securing and setting up the timber

• CNC routing the infinity shape

• CNC routing the curved form

• CNC routing the heart shapes

• CNC routing the heart openings for the Classic design

• Preparing the solid-side layout when selected

• Preparing the solid pine base

• Cutting the base to size

• CNC routing the stand slot

• Sanding the infinity sculpture

• Hand refining routed edges and openings

There are no routed tealight recesses in the base.

The supplied battery-operated LED tealights sit directly on the finished base surface.

CNC routing is only one stage of the manufacturing process.

Every piece still requires substantial individual preparation, sanding, engraving, staining, finishing and hands-on workshop work.

NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Real solid wood is a natural material and every infinity sign will be different.

Natural characteristics may include:

• Visible wood grain

• Growth rings

• Natural colour variation

• Knots

• Partially open knots

• Fallen knots

• Knot holes

• Natural voids and cavities

• Small pinholes

• Resin or sap pockets

• Tiny surface depressions

• Fine cracks, splits or checks

• Natural texture variation

• Different stain absorption

CNC routing can expose characteristics inside the timber that were not visible before machining.

Routed surfaces, curves and heart openings can therefore naturally vary slightly in grain pattern, colour, texture and appearance.

Laser engraving can also vary naturally in darkness and depth depending on the grain direction, timber density, knots and resin content.

Because each product is individually made and finished in our workshop, subtle handmade characteristics may occasionally be visible, including:

• Small glue traces where applicable

• Sanding marks

• Routing or tool marks

• Tiny dents

• Wax or polish traces

• Signs of workshop handling

• Slight fitting or alignment variation

• Small differences in finished measurements

Solid timber may naturally move slightly over time in response to changes in temperature and humidity.

These characteristics are normal for genuine natural timber and handcrafted production and are not considered faults.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

A newly handcrafted infinity sign may have a noticeable natural scent when first unpacked.

This can be a combination of fresh timber, wood stain and finishing wax.

This is normal and is not a defect.

After unpacking, allow the product to air naturally.

The initial fresh wood and finish scent will gradually reduce over time.

CARE & SAFETY

Keep the wooden product dry.

Do not soak or wash the wooden components.

Wipe gently using a soft dry or slightly damp cloth when required.

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture, strong direct heat or extreme changes in humidity.

Use only battery-operated LED tealights.

Never use real candles, naked flames or any other heat source on or near the wooden base.

Other decorative props shown in photographs are not included.
