As every piece is handcrafted from genuine solid timber, very small variations in measurements may occur.

REAL SOLID PINE

Each horseshoe is made from genuine solid pine timber.

It is not:

• Thin plywood
• MDF
• Veneered board
• A factory-made blank
• A mass-produced decoration

The horseshoe shape, routed recesses, decorative openings and heart details are physically machined into the solid timber, giving the finished piece genuine depth and character.

MADE FROM SCRATCH IN OUR WORKSHOP

We make each horseshoe in-house from raw solid timber rather than purchasing ready-made wooden blanks.

The production process includes:

• Selecting the solid pine timber
• Cutting the timber
• Preparing the CNC programme
• Machining the horseshoe shape
• Routing the decorative openings
• Routing the heart details
• Sanding and refining the edges
• Laser engraving the selected design and personalisation
• Applying the selected wood stain
• Re-sanding and hand finishing where required
• Applying finishing wax or oil
• Hand polishing the completed piece

Wood stain reacts differently with every individual piece of natural timber.

Grain direction, timber density, knots and resin content can all influence the way stain is absorbed, so the final shade and appearance will naturally vary from one piece to another.

DESIGNED TO HANG

This version is designed as a wall-hanging decoration and does not include a wooden display base.

There is no separate metal hanging hook fitted to the back.

The horseshoe can be hung using a suitable wall fixing positioned through one of the routed openings or through a heart opening.

Wall fixings are not supplied because the correct fixing depends on your individual wall construction.

Please always use a secure fixing suitable for both your wall type and the weight of a solid wooden decoration.

NATURAL WOOD & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

This product is individually handcrafted from genuine solid pine.

Natural timber is not a perfectly uniform material and no two pieces will ever look exactly the same.

Your horseshoe may naturally display:

• Differences in grain pattern and growth rings
• Natural colour variation
• Knots and knot markings
• Partially open or fallen knots
• Natural knot holes
• Tiny pinholes, voids or cavities
• Resin or sap pockets
• Small natural depressions
• Fine cracks, checks or splits associated with solid timber
• Differences in surface texture and timber density
• Different levels of stain absorption
• Natural light and dark areas
• Differences in engraving shade caused by grain, resin and timber density
• Slight differences in engraving depth
• Minor sanding, routing or tool marks
• Tiny dents or workshop handling marks
• Fine surface marks or micro-scratches
• Small traces from waxing, oiling or hand polishing
• Very small differences in dimensions or edge finishing

Solid timber can also move slightly in response to changes in temperature and humidity.

These are normal characteristics of genuine timber and handmade production and are not manufacturing defects.

They are part of the natural character that makes every solid wood piece individual.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

When first unpacked, your newly handcrafted wooden horseshoe may have a noticeable natural scent.

This can be a combination of fresh timber, wood stain and the wax or oil used during the finishing process.

This is completely normal for a freshly made solid wood product and is not a defect.

After unpacking, we recommend allowing the piece to air naturally for approximately 24–48 hours.

The fresh timber and finishing scent will gradually reduce.

CARE

For indoor decorative use.

• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth
• Do not soak or immerse in water
• Do not use harsh chemical cleaners
• Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture
• Keep away from strong direct heat sources
• Prolonged strong sunlight may gradually alter the natural colour of the timber and stain

As this is genuine solid wood, small natural movement may occur with significant changes in temperature or humidity.
