Personalised Solid Oak Floral Pen & Keepsake Box – Optional Engraved Bamboo Pen

Personalised Solid Oak Floral Pen & Keepsake Box – The Floral Elegance Collection

A beautifully handcrafted solid oak keepsake box, personalised with your chosen name and an elegant floral engraving. Available as a personalised wooden box on its own or as a gift set with a matching engraved bamboo pen.

Celebrate life's meaningful moments with a gift made to be treasured. Our Floral Elegance Collection combines the natural beauty of genuine solid oak with delicate botanical artwork, precision craftsmanship and thoughtful personalisation.

Each box is individually made from raw oak timber in our UK workshop, rather than purchased as a ready-made wooden blank. Its compact, elongated shape makes it a lovely home for a favourite pen, small jewellery pieces, sentimental keepsakes or a handwritten note.

Perfect for teacher appreciation, graduation, birthdays, retirement, Mother's Day, thank-you gifts and other special occasions.

Please provide your final wording exactly as you wish it to appear. We engrave the wording supplied, including spelling, capital letters and punctuation. Please check your details carefully before placing your order.

The decorative floral artwork remains fixed within the selected design. Personalisation applies to the agreed text areas.

A digital engraving preview is not supplied as standard unless separately agreed.

GENUINE SOLID OAK CONSTRUCTION

Our boxes are individually crafted in our UK workshop using real solid oak timber.

The lid and base are separately precision CNC-machined from solid oak, creating a beautifully fitted box with softly rounded corners and a recessed interior.

Every piece goes through a careful in-house production process:

1. Genuine solid oak timber is selected, cut and prepared.

2. The separate lid and base are precision CNC-machined.

3. The interior recesses and hardware positions are carefully machined.

4. Your selected floral artwork and personalisation are laser-engraved.

5. Two small concealed 8 mm brass barrel hinges are fitted at the rear.

6. One centrally positioned magnetic closure pair is installed at the front.

7. The oak is carefully hand-sanded.

8. A suitable wood wax/oil finish is applied.

9. The surfaces are hand-polished.

10. Soft beige felt is fitted to the bottom of the lower interior compartment.

11. The finished box is inspected and carefully packaged.

The result is a substantial, compact wooden keepsake made with attention to detail.

APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS

External dimensions:

16 × 7.5 × 3.5 cm

(approximately 6.3 × 3 × 1.4 inches)

Internal dimensions:

15 × 5.5 × 3 cm

(approximately 5.9 × 2.2 × 1.2 inches)

Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly because each box is individually made and finished.

The box has one open interior compartment, with beige felt on the lower base only. The interior walls and inside lid remain natural oak.

Please measure any pen or other intended contents before ordering. Not every pen or accessory will fit.

NATURAL OAK & HANDMADE CHARACTERISTICS

Genuine solid oak is a natural material, and no two pieces of timber are identical.

Each box will have its own grain pattern, natural colour variation and individual character. Depending on the timber, this may include knots, open or fallen knots, small voids or cavities, pinholes, resin pockets, fine cracks or checks and other natural wood features.

As each item is individually CNC-machined, engraved, assembled, hand-sanded and finished, subtle workshop characteristics may also be present. These can include minor machining, routing or sanding marks, tiny dents, slight differences in joint alignment, small traces of finishing wax, minor engraving variation and small measurement differences.

Wood can also respond naturally to changes in temperature and humidity over time.

These characteristics are part of working with genuine solid timber and should not be confused with the uniform appearance of mass-produced or synthetic materials.

The colour, grain, decorative engraving contrast and finish of your box may differ slightly from the photographs.

FRESH WOOD & FINISH SCENT

When first opened, your newly handcrafted box may have a noticeable natural scent of fresh oak timber combined with the wood finishing products used.

This is normal for a recently finished wooden item and is not a defect.

If preferred, unpack the box and leave it open in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area to allow the scent to fade naturally.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To help preserve your handcrafted oak box:

- Keep it in a dry indoor environment.

- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and high humidity.

- Do not soak, immerse or wash with water.

- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.

- Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and excessive moisture.

- Keep the magnetic closure and concealed hinges free from dirt and debris.

- Do not force the lid beyond its natural opening range.

- Avoid placing wet, leaking or sharp objects directly on the felt.

This is a decorative keepsake and storage box, not a toy.
